  • When I purchase from your site and see the orders later, why do I see sub-orders with some of the orders I have made?


  • As MediaMut.com is a media marketplace for buyers and sellers. Our sellers offer quality media products. From movies, music, reading material, media memorabilia, and more. Any order you make with the site may contain items from many different sellers. This implies that your order may have more than one sub-orders each of which will be delivered by the respective sellers separately. Your complete order can be paid for in one easy payment for for all items purchased for your convenience when checking out.

  • Why do I receive my order in many parts?


  • An order you make with MediaMut.com may contain items from more than one seller, and these sub-orders are separately handled by each seller. That is the reason you get your items delivered in parts.

  • What if I get my order in a damaged/bad condition?


  • The sellers with MediaMut.com take utmost care in packaging and shipping the items ordered by you. In the very unlikely event that your order reach you in a bad/damaged condition, you can inform the seller and also the site administrator to get authorization from the seller to send the items back. You have 30 days from your purchase date to request refunds or replacements if necessary.

  • How much time will it take to ship my items?


  • In normal cases, your items should reach you within 7-21 days from the date of your order. International orders may take longer depending on location.

  • Can I purchase products without registering with mediamut.com?


  • No. You need to first register with mediamut.com and login to be able to shop with us. However, you can browse and compare items even without logging in. Mediamut.com uses paypal to receive payments at this time. Paypal accepts all major credit cards and e-checks and you do not have to have be signed up for a paypal account to be able to purchase/pay for products through it. We will be adding a few more choice payments gateways for your convenience soon.

  • Do I need to do anything after I receive the items?


  • Please login to the system, go to 'Orders' section and update the status of each sub-order (if any) to 'DELIVERED'. This is very important as it ensures us that you have received your item(s) in a timely manner and in good condition. Please remember to leave feedback for your seller at this time.

  • I would like sell my products on mediamut.com. How do I become a seller for this marketplace?


  • To be able to sell your products through MediaMut.com you need to first register with mediamut.com as a Seller. You will then recieve your own admin panel for listing your products and uploading photos of your items for sale. We do not charge our customers shipping fees so please remember to include acceptable shipping fees in your asking price if necessary. You will also receive a subdomain url for your own product listings. You may place it on other websites or personal web pages so people can visit your store by clicking on your link.

  • Can I list products for FREE ? Are you taking any charges/commissions?


  • MediaMut.com will be deducting a small percentage of the total order price. This percentage is subject to change from time to time. The current seller commission is 10%. You may list as many products in your store as you wish free of charge. There are no other charges involved. All your listings will show up in the marketplace with other sellers items as well as exclusively with your product only in your mediamut.com store.(Pornography and illegal items are not permitted.)

  • How will I receive the payments for my delivered orders?


  • MediaMut.com will pay you monthly if you have accumulated sufficient funds in the amount of $1.00 or more. You can send the administrator of the site an email requesting your payments. New sellers will have a waiting period of 30 days before being able to cash in. After the first 30 days you may request your payments on any given date. If payments are not requested and your seller account has $1.00 or more, payments will automatically be sent out to your paypal account between the 1st and the 5th of each month. Payments will be released only after items have been recieved by their customers. We ask sellers to login and inform us when they receive items. A customer has 30 days to request a refund or replacement for damaged or unreceived goods. All seller's funds will be released to the seller less 10% for seller commissions on the first day of the month after the 30 days period is over if a customer fails to report whether they have recieved their item through mediamut.com. Sellers are responsible for keeping their information updated in their profile area where you can edit, change and delete information. This includes yur paypal ID where you will be receiving payments from mediamut.com. Sellers are responsible for replacements and refund charges due to damaged items etc. for their buying customers. These amounts would be automatically deducted from the sellers account in the event that mediamut.com had to issue the refund to a seller's customer.

  • Can I ship items in an order partially?


  • No. You cannot ship the items in an order partially. You need to ship all the items purchased by the same customer after payment is made or cancel the entire order. Consistent negative feedback for any given seller will result in that seller's suspension. Mediamut.com provides legitimate services for buyers and sellers. We expect our sellers to provide good business services to all customers as well. All products are paid for in full before you are notifed and asked to ship the item(s).

  • What if some of my items do not fit into any of the categories in the site?


  • If your items do not fall into any of the categories listed in the site, you can request the administrator of the site to create the relevant categories using the 'Mail Admin' section. If the categories are found relevant, the administrator will be adding it for you.

  • How will I display my portfolio to the users?


  • You can easily upload your photo or store logo and provide some simple information about yourself or your company.

  • Do I need to pay for registering with mediamut.com as a seller?


  • No. For becoming a seller you need not pay anything. Our listing services are free of charge for all sellers. The commision charges are per order you receive through mediamut.com. Sellers fees are 10% of the entire purchased order.

  • You can become an affiliate of MediaMut.com by registering with us as an affiliate by going to the Affiliate Section

  • How am I paid for affiliate registrations?


  • You will be paid for the first purchase of each new customer referred by you. The payment structure is subject to change from time to time and the current payment is 5 % of the total sale price of the first purchase from each new customer you refer to mediamut.com.

  • Will I get payment for the products purchased by the referrals made by me?


  • No. You will be eligible only for payments for the first purchase by the referrals made by you.

  • Should I have a website in order to be your affiliate?


  • No. You need not require a website to become our affiliate. All you have to do is to get your advertising url from the Get URL page of MediaMut.com affiliate section and ask your friends to register with MediaMut.com using the url you have got from the Get URL page.

  • Login to the Affiliate Section and goto the 'Get URL' page. You can get the banners or urls from this section for advertising in your site or by email or by any other means.
